Arsenal midfielder Martin Odegaard agrees with Mikel Arteta that the club’s fans will play an important role in Tuesday’s game.

“I always believed that I would get the chance to play important games and play in the Champions League. I think football doesn’t always work out the way you expect it to.” Odegaard the Norwegian midfielder said.
“Like my time at (Real) Madrid, the loan plans didn’t go as planned. But that’s football. And that’s life.
“I think that (the atmosphere at Emirates Stadium) is important for us. The fans and what they do is very special. We feel it every time we go on the field. They have helped us a lot and I am sure tomorrow (Tuesday) they will do their part wonderfully. I can’t wait.
“Like I said before. We have to focus on ourselves and do what we can. Including the history that we can make We have to fight for the biggest competition and show that we can do that.”
The Norwegian’s current deal expires in 2025 with an option for another year. But the Gunners want to tie him down with a long-term deal. The 24-year-old contributed 15 goals plus assists last season in the league.
