‘Dortmund-Stuttgart’ join to hunt Arokodare

Genk big striker Tolu Arokodare is a target for Borussia Dortmund and Stuttgart.

Borussia Dortmund and Stuttgart are both interested in signing Genk’s 24-year-old Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare this summer, with Fenerbahce also keeping tabs on the player.

The Nigerian striker is a large forward, standing at 1.97m tall, strong, good in the air and can score with both feet. He is currently under contract until 2027 and has an estimated value of no less than 20 million euros.

The 24-year-old was capped by Nigeria for the first time earlier in 2025. Where he has scored one goal in four appearances for the Super Eagles, adding international recognition to his club form.

He was close to moving to Turkish Super Lig giants Trabzonspor last summer but was persuaded by manager Thorsten Fink to remain at the Cegeka Arena.

According to Transfermarkt, Borussia Dortmund have identified Arokodare as one of their transfer targets for the 2025/26 season.

Genk are reportedly willing to sell their talismanic striker if the right amount is put on the table.

The 24-year-old has a contract with the Smurfs until 2027.
