Mike Maignan has hit back at journalists who criticised AC Milan for having a ‘disaster’ season in an interview after their 2-2 draw with Fiorentina.

The French goalkeeper was one of Milan’s standout performers in the game, making a number of incredible saves, including a second-half save from Moise Kean, to keep the score in check.

The 29-year-old admitted แทงบอล UFABET ราคาดีที่สุด ไม่มีขั้นต่ำ Milan are not in “easy times” but insisted the challenge this season will be to help the team grow and better prepare the club to bounce back from the challenges faced by critics after Milan’s poor start to the season.

“I don’t think so, we all played together. I was angry about the goal but I think the attitude of the team afterwards was right. The reaction was great, but unfortunately it’s only after we conceded a goal. “

” I think it’s not an easy moment for the club and for everyone, but I believe this will be an experience for the future. As you can see, this is a team that never gives up, no matter the result. We need to find the right balance between defensive strength and offensive efficiency.”

Amid speculation about a new board and a possible managerial change next season, Maignan was asked by reporters what Milan’s players need to start performing consistently after a season the journalist has described as “a disaster”.

The French goalkeeper replied: “We need you, people like you, maybe you know how to attack in the right places to energize the team.”

Maignan also spoke about his future, saying: “I feel good at Milan. “

I give everything for this shirt every time I put it on and every day. Now, to be honest, I don’t want to talk about my contract, I want to talk about football and finding the right balance.

“Milan, the team and everyone involved deserves more. My personal situation is not the most important thing at the moment.”
